High Pressure Roller Mill

The high-pressure suspension roller mill is a high-efficiency powder-making equipment upgraded from the traditional Raymond mill. By adding a high-pressure spring system, it significantly increases the grinding pressure of the rollers on the material, thereby improving output and fineness control. High-pressure roller mills are widely used in the mineral, construction, chemical, and metallurgical industries. They can be used to produce over 400 kinds of non-flammable and non-explosive materials with a Mohs hardness of less than 7 and a moisture content of less than 6%, such as quartzite, feldspar, barite, fluorite, dolomite, garnet, silicon carbide, bauxite, zircon sand, marble, calcite, iron ore, phosphate rock, coal briquettes, ceramics, and slag. The particle size of the final product can be adjusted between 40 mesh and 800 mesh.

Working Principle

The working principle of a high-pressure mill is similar to that of a traditional Raymond mill, but its grinding device is equipped with a high-pressure spring with a pressure of 1000-1500 kg. During operation, the rollers of the high-pressure roller mill rotate around the main shaft, rolling tightly against the grinding ring under the action of the high-pressure spring and centrifugal force. Its rolling pressure under the same power conditions is 1.2 times that of a Raymond mill, thus significantly increasing the output of the high-pressure mill.

After the material to be ground enters the grinding chamber, it is scooped up by the bucket and fed to the rollers and grinding ring for rolling. The pulverized powder is then carried by the circulating air from the blower into the analyzer. Qualified fine powder is carried by the airflow into the cyclone dust collector. Larger particles fall back into the grinding chamber for further grinding. The circulating air returns to the blower, repeating the above process. The remaining air enters a bag filter for purification. When the grinding rollers and grinding ring wear to a certain extent, the length of the high-pressure spring is adjusted to maintain a constant grinding pressure between the grinding rollers and grinding ring, thereby ensuring stable output and fineness.

The complete high-pressure micro-powder grinding equipment mainly consists of a grinding system, an analysis system, a dust removal system, and a high-pressure device. The grinding system comprises a motor, blades, grinding rollers, a gearbox, and other accessories. Compared to other grinding mills, the high-pressure micro-powder grinding mill has the advantages of higher efficiency and stronger wear resistance.
