Armenia 500 Tons/Day Copper-Lead-Zinc Ore Beneficiation Project

Date: 2026-02-28 Categories: Client Cases Views: 11

The 500-ton/day copper-lead-zinc ore beneficiation project in Armenia adopts a beneficiation process of "two-stage closed-circuit crushing - one-stage autogenous grinding - lead rough concentrate regrinding - preferential flotation - two-stage dewatering", which is suitable for carbonate rock type deposits. The main metallic minerals are galena and sphalerite, and the gangue minerals are mainly diopside.

Recommended process flow and technical basis

  1. ‌Crushing and grinding processes
A two-stage closed-circuit crushing system is adopted, which controls the ore particle size within a reasonable range before it enters the first stage of autogenous grinding, reducing over-grinding and improving energy efficiency. This design has been verified in a 1500t/d project in Armenia and is suitable for medium-hardness carbonate rock ores.

  2. Flotation process: Preferred flotation + regrinding for enhanced recovery‌

    • A flotation process of "one roughing, three scavenging, and three cleaning" is implemented to prioritize the recovery of lead minerals.
    • The lead rough concentrate is regrinded to improve the degree of liberation of individual minerals and further increase the concentrate grade.
    • The flotation recovery rate can reach 90.49%, the lead concentrate grade reaches 78.85 g/t, and the raw ore grade is 5.61 g/t.
  3. Dehydration process
Using a disc vacuum filter for concentrate dewatering achieves a dewatering rate of over 95%, ensuring stability during transportation and storage.
