Morocco 500 Tons/Day Silver Ore Beneficiation Project
Date: 2026-02-28 Categories: Client Cases Views: 16
The Morocco 500 tpd (tons/day) silver ore beneficiation project is a modern beneficiation engineering project for the efficient recovery of silver resources. It aims to address the problems of insufficient processing capacity and declining silver recovery rate caused by the existing 300 tpd (tons/day) cyanide plant due to aging equipment and inefficient processes. Through technological upgrades and process optimization, the project has achieved significant improvements in beneficiation efficiency and economic benefits.

Core Mineral Processing Technology
1. Crushing and Screening Stage
The crushing process employs a two-stage semi-closed-circuit method:
- Coarse and medium crushing: Jaw crusher
- Fine crushing: Cone crusher
- Screening: Vibrating screen
- The crushed ore is conveyed by belt to the existing powder silo, and then transported by truck to the new plant site.
2. Grinding and Classification Stage
A two-stage closed-circuit grinding process is adopted:
- Stage 1 Grinding: Wet grate ball mill
- Gravity Separation: Jigging for roughing, shaking table for cleaning
- Failure Classification: High-weir single spiral classifier
- Stage 2 Grinding: Wet overflow ball mill
- Stage 2 Classification: Hydrocyclone assembly
- Grinding Fineness Control: Stage 1 -200 mesh 55–60%, Stage 2 -200 mesh 85–90%
3. Flotation stage
The flotation process employs a coarse-grained, three-scavenged, and two-cleaning process:
- Flotation equipment: A combination of XCF and KYF type flotation machines (air intake tank + direct current tank)
- Process characteristics: Suitable for situations where silver minerals are finely embedded and coexist with sulfide minerals, improving the overall recovery rate of silver.
4. Concentrate dewatering and tailings treatment
- Dehydration process: Two-stage mechanical dehydration
- Section 1: Thickener
- Second stage: Filter press
- The filter cake has a moisture content of approximately 20%.
- Tailings disposal: Directly discharged into the existing tailings pond, with recycled water, achieving water conservation and environmentally friendly operation.
